New Akkyshan profiles

My Akkyshan Army proxies exemple (3D print done, painting in progress)

Several years ago I had worked with other Confrontation players on the Confédé forum to analyse the creation of the Akkyshan army, its history, its attitudes, its strengths and weaknesses. All this based on the information found in the Confrontation Universe book or Cry Havoc magazines.

With the various license purchases and other priorities of the forum this project has fallen into oblivion.

Rather than having worked for nothing, the project interests me a lot otherwise I would not have participated, I decided to collect all the ideas from the 20 pages of discussions. From these ideas I made my own vision of the army and, using the Confédé profile cost matrix, I made a specific matrix and created enough profiles to play this army (maybe even too many, but it's better than not enough).

For the moment I have created 4 lists of 200 to 400 AP.

I still have to collect/print the miniatures to test at least 1/3 of the profiles to make sure they are not too strong or too weak. (done, tests in progress)

Later I think to make a video with 2 to 4 armies with different lists and painted miniatures playing solo like in chess to show the possibilities of this army after painting all the miniatures of these lists.

Finally, I will have to finalize the creation of the cards for all these profiles. (done)

Il y a plusieurs années j'avais travaillé avec d'autres joueurs Confrontation sur le forum Confédé à l'étude de la création de l'armée Akkyshan, son histoire, son comportement, ses forces et faiblesses. Tout ceci en se basant sur les informations trouvés dans le livre Univers de Confrontation ou les revues Cry Havoc.

Avec les différents rachats de licence et d'autre priorités du forum ce projet est tombé aux oubliettes.

Plutôt que d'avoir travaillé pour rien, le projet m'intéressant beaucoup sinon je n'y aurais pas participé, j'ai décidé de rassembler toutes les idées des 20 pages de discussions. A partir de ces idées je me suis fais ma propre vision de l'armée et, à l'aide de la matrice de coût des profils Confédé, j'ai réalisé une matrice spécifique et créé suffisamment de profils pour jouer cette armée (peut être même trop, mais c'est mieux que pas assez).

Pour le moment, j'ai créé 4 listes de 200 à 400 PA.

Il me reste à rassembler/imprimer les figurines pour tester au moins 1/3 des profils afin de vérifier qu'ils ne soient ni trop forts ni trop faibles. (fait, tests en cours)

Par la suite je penses faire une vidéo avec 2 à 4 armées avec différentes listes et des figurines peintes en jouant solo comme aux échecs pour montrer les possibilités de cette armée après avoir peint toutes les figurines de ces listes.

Capacities	Description
Beater	If an enemy fighter fails his fear test, he is forced to flee regardless of any abilities that indicate otherwise. The direction of fleeing is chosen by the Demonic dog.
Canine protection	Def+1 (maximum : 3) per Demonic dog within 10 cm.
Circle of influence/X	At the beginning of the strategic phase, the miniature gains DIS+1 (maximum: +3) for every 2 friendly fighters within X cm.
Climb	Can move on a wall of maximum 15cm height. Has the ability ' Immunity/Crowded ground '.
Egg laying/X	Once per turn, provided she doesn't make any moves, a Queen can lay X number of eggs, each containing 1 Spider at 5cm, which can be activated 1 turn after the laying, when they hatch. This capacity can only be used if it was not used the previous turn. Put an Egg marker. If the egg is wounded before it hatches, remove it from the game and replace it with a Meat marker. 1 Meat Marker can be used by a Spider, Arachnite or Queen type fighter in order to be healed of 1 Wound, the marker used in this way is removed from play. Type of spider that hatches from 1 egg, roll 1d6: 1/2 = Baby bomb, 3/4 = Spider vitamin, 5/6 = Spider suicide.
Natal explosion	A Baby Elf Bomb can be carried by a friendly or enemy fighter. It can be picked up or dropped without counting as an action during the carrier's movement. If 1 Baby Elf Bomb is carried by a fighter, nothing else can be carried by the fighter. After the Baby Elf Bomb has been moved or dropped on the ground, at the very beginning or end of a Close Combat phase you can designate it to be detonated. Any combatant in contact, friend or enemy, must roll 1D6, if the result is <3, the fighter remarks the beginning of the explosion and can try to run away (Disengage/6). If the result is >2, the Baby Elf Bomb is disintegrated in an explosion and cannot return to play in any way. All fighters, friend or enemy, who are in contact with a disintegrating Baby Elf Bomb receive a roll of Wounds (FOR=5).
Akkyshan - Sacrifice	When the fighter receives a Wound roll, he can designate a friendly fighter of his faction within 5cm (no line of sight is necessary) with one of the abilities below: . "Devotion/X". . "Martyr/X". "Sacrifice" can only be used if the friendly fighter's Strategic Value is strictly lower than the target's on the Wound roll.
Slave capture	If an enemy fighter in contact (maximum = 2) suffers a serious wound, 1d6 can be rolled to capture him on a result of 5 or 6. In case of capture, his type becomes "enemy slave", as long as he remains in contact with the Slave Hunter he can no longer wound her and she can force him to attack another enemy miniature or follow him during his movement. He is considered to be on the same card as the Slave Hunter who captured him but his card remains in the opponent's pile. On his turn, the opponent at the time of playing the captured miniature's card can try a disengagement on the INI of difficulty 7 to free him. If the captured slave is no longer in contact with the Slave Hunter at the end of 1 turn, the slave is free and no longer under her control at the beginning of the next turn.
Suffering of slaves	Once per turn, during the strategic or combat phase, if a Slave is within shooting range, it can be targeted (maximum = 3 Slaves). The targeted friendly or captured slave gets a light wound against 1 healed wound level for the one who has this ability and his Ini is increased by +1 until the end of the turn. The same fighter can be targeted multiple times even if it kills him. This ability cannot be used by the same miniature if it has already used the skill Cure/X during the same turn.
Suicide explosion	After its movement, at the very beginning or at the end of a close combat phase, you can designate a suicide spider and sacrifice it. It disintegrates in a powerful explosion and cannot return to play in any way. All fighters, friendly or enemy, within 5cm of a disintegrating suicide spider receive a Wound roll (FOR=4).
The burrowing spiders	When deployed, a miniature with the Web/X capacity has X markers: X Web and X Hole. These markers must be placed, face down, at the same time as the Artificer. However, it is forbidden to place such a marker within 10cm of the opponent's deployment zone and within 6cm of an opponent's miniature, unless it is outside its deployment zone. After this, when a miniature that is not a spider (friendly or enemy) comes within 4cm of one of these markers, it is flipped over: - If it is a Hole, the miniature gets its Mov/2 until the end of the turn. - If it is a Web, the miniature gets its Mov=0 until another miniature stays in contact with it for 1 turn.
The long legs spiders	Between Heaven and Earth: The Long Legs Spiders akkyshan can assault and attack fighters ennemi who are in Level 1 and vice versa. Enemies in Level 1 do not get the bonus of a dive attack when charging a Long Legs Spider. Inaccessible: Small and Medium size fighters on Level 0 remove one point from the final result of their Attack tests when fighting Long Legs Spiders in close combat.
Vitamined meal	This capacity can be used when activating &/or placing dice in each fight. A fighter can sacrifice another friendly fighter of his people at 10cm or less with this capacity (no line of sight is necessary), he recovers a wound level and the targeted fighter suffers a Serious Wound.
