Before making a Tactical Roll, the friendly magicians and faithful located within 10 cm or less of Yh-Ibenseth or the carrier of his canopic doll may awake the power of the tentacular appendices. Each Gem of Darkness or T.F. point spent allows 1 counter to be placed on this card. (Maximum: 6.) These counters can be discarded during the game in order to endow Yh-Ibenseth with one of several powers described on the back of this card. The cost in counters and the activation conditions are indicated after the name of each power. Unused counters are discarded at the end of the round.

A friendly Character (or Independent in Rag'Narok) of Mid-Nor may be given Yh-Ibenseth's canopic doll at no cost during the building of armies. It doesn't count as a magical object. Place the canopic doll figurine on his base. If the carrier is a magician or a faithful, he may spend his own gems or T.F. points to generation counters. Yh-Ibenseth suffers a Damage Roll (STR 20) as soon as the carrier of his canopic doll is KILLED OUTRIGHT or flees out of the battlefield's limits.

The tentacular appendices are reserved to Yh-Ibenseth and are not counted in the number of artifacts he may have.

Aggression / 3: This power is activated right after the Tactical Roll, Yh-Ibenseth acquires the <War Fury> ability. Each additional counter spent for this power increases its STR by 1 point. These effects last until the end of the round.

Sovereignty / 3: This power is activated right after the Tactical Roll. Yh-Ibenseth's Fear rate is increased by 1 point until the end of the round. This bonus is transmitted by Leadership in Rag'Narok but not in Confrontation. This power can be used only once per round.

Avoidance / X: This power is activated as soon as Yh-Ibenseth suffers a Damage Roll. Roll 1D6. The number "X" of counters spend on this power before the test is added to the result. If the sum of the result on the die and the counters is 7 or more then the Damage Roll is cancelled. A result of Rackham d6 1.png (1) is an automatic failure. The spent counters are lost, whatever the roll's result. This power can be used several times per round, but only once for each Damage Roll.
