Hand of the Puppeteer 1

The master of puppets concentrated for a moment. Transparent strings of Darkness appeared from his fingertips and tied themselves around the articulations of an incubus of the Despot. The master of puppets skillfully corrected the incubus's mistakes and made him perform feats of arms that he normally wouldn't have been able to do.

The Magician can spend 1 gem of Darkness after each of the target's Attack and Defense tests. The test is then cancelled and re-roll as if it had never been made. The new result is kept and cannot be rolled again.

Rag'Narok: The hand of the puppeteer can only be cast on an Independent in the magician's Unit. No line of sight is required.

This spell is to be cast on a friendly Mid-Nor fighter as soon as he has just made an Attack or Defense test. One of the dice used for this test is rolled again and its new result replaces the previous one. Yet the final result is reduced by one point. The die can then no longer be rolled again.

If the magician or the targeted fighter is a member of the colony of Sunkunûn, then this spell's Frequency is equal to 2.

Rag'Narok: No line of sight is required if the magician casts this spell onto a member of his Unit.
