Word of Pain 1

At the beginning of the world, many gods fell from the celestial dome. The Magicians of Darkness believe that these divine powers haven't been vanquished, but are sleeping somewhere while healing their wounds. By pronouncing their names out loud, they can borrow a part of their destructive power... Luckily most of these names have been forgotten with the passing of time.

Path: Elemental

Range: 10 cm

Difficulty: 10

Duration: Special

Area of Effect: One enemy figurine

Frequency: Unlimited

Intensity: 4

A.P.: 14

The Word of Pain must be pronounced during the Movement phase. Thanks to this word, the Magician is able to inflict great pain on an adversary. Until the end of the round, the target suffers the same penalties as a Serious Wound, even though this Wound is not real. If the target already has a Serious Wound then it cannot move until the spell's effects end. The Magician may prolong the target's agony from one round to another by paying a Gem of Darkness, even if it is out of the spell's range.
