The Scythe of the Howlers

Who would believe that Vijkhal was once considered of the worse warriors of the Behemoth? Yet his caution, seen as a sign of cowardice by his kind, saved his life when his brothers-in-arms ran head on into a battle opposing the Ram and the Lion. Without any allies and outnumbered, the orcs were exterminated. Vijkhal, the only survivor, retreated to the heights.

Since he could not leave his village defenseless, the orc devised a plan. Risking his life, he went back to the battlefield and recovered his chief's weapon, the Scythe of the Howlers. Caught between the rage of the artifact and the wisdom inspired by the Tree-Spirit, Vijkhal executed his plan. In a series of fighting attacks, he systematically killed anyone fleeing the battlefield, exterminated any lost soul he could find and reaped the winners of the battle in an ultimate attack. Influenced by both the courage inspired by the artifact and his cautious nature. Vijkhal knew exactly when to strike and when to retreat. When night came, the young warrior stood alone in the blood-red snow. He had tamed the Scythe of the Howlers and had won the battle.

Vijkhal returned to his village, brandishing the heads of the enemy leaders. The lives of great warriors were lost on that day, but a hero was born. Since then, time has passed and Vijkhal has become the leader of the tribe of the Behemoth. His legend still inspires his warriors when they are outnumbered by the enemy.

The Scythe of the Howlers is reserved to Vijkhal. It gives him <Born Killer>.
