The Scorpion Claws

The Skorize Warriors are the vanguard of the Alchemist Swarms. They eliminate pockets of resistance, spreading doubt and discord in the enemy camp. The Skorizes have particular equipment that makes them truly fearsome. They inhale toxic gases identical to those found in their birthing tanks. The neurotropic substances that saturate their organism give the Skorizes exceptional resilience to damage.

The Skorizes also use a technique called the Scorpion Claws: their strangling flail clasps their enemy. Once the opponent is imprisoned, their dorsal claws hit their target.

Whatever the Wound that eliminates a Skorize, even a KILLED OUTRIGHT, he is not removed from the battleground until the end of the round. During this time, he is considered being Critically Wounded.

When a Skorize Charges an opponent, he uses the Scorpion Claws technique. If he is still engaged against the target of his Charge in the Hand-to-Hand Combat phase, he inflicts to his target an additional -1 penalty in INI, ATT and DEF. This penalty cannot however be stacked if several Skorize Warriors Charge the same opponent. It is the fearsome power of his Strangling Flail. Once the opponent is "imprisoned", his dorsal claws hit his target. They give the Skorize an additional combat die, only usable against the target clasped by the Flail.

The effects of the Scorpion Claws are valid until the end of the round. This technique has no effect against fighters with a base other than Infantry / 25 mm by 25 mm.
