The Guardian of Danakil

The annals of Syharhalna tell of how Danakil, one of the pioneers of Technomancy, died. Blinded by his own zeal, this scientist had dared to disrespect orders by creating an exceptional race of clones without his emperor's knowledge: the Danakil, the future Dawn Warriors. Emperor Dirz created Genariah, a true "demigod" of war, using Danakil's stem cells. He then sent his champion to encounter his rival. Genariah confronted the nine guardians of Danakil's fortified laboratory, and after having killed their master he made them his most formidable lieutenants: the Pillars. Among them was Ka, the last warrior still conscious after Genariah's victory.

Danakil earned its reputation of being an impregnable fortress in the decades that followed. The Pillars and Genariah, the first commodore, were cloned again and again, generation after generation. In the age of Rag'Narok, the honor of defending the treasures of Danakil falls on Thissan Ka's descendent.

The Sentinels of Danakil, Dawn Warriors who have been chosen to defend the desert fortress, fight with strengthened ardor when their chief confronts their enemy by their side.

As long as Thissan Ka is on the battlefield, all Sentinels of Danakil in his camp who assign at least 2 of their Mutagenic points to their Resilience benefit from the Fierce ability until the end of the round. Thissan Ka can also benefit from this effect.
