The Despot's Puppeteers

The Masters of Puppet bring the Despot's word and wrath to the four corners of Aarklash. Among the names of these torturers of the Age of Darkness, that of Ezalyth is the one whispered with the most fear... or the most respect.

Ezalyth has again increased her power by sharing her carnal shell with Elzavid, a powerful demon of the origins.

Just before the Approach you may choose one of the three effects described below for every Master of Puppets in your army. A fighter may only benefit from the effects of one of these Acolytes at the time. Roll a D6 after each use. On a result of a natural 1, the Acolyte is destroyed and cannot be used again until the end of the game.

  • Cabalistic Acolyte: once per round the Master of Puppets benefits from an additional Mastering die to cast a spell.
  • Acolyte of Devastation: once per round, during an Attack Roll, the Master of Puppets rolls 2D6 and keeps the better result.
  • Acolyte of Domination: once per round a Character of Mid-Nor situated within 10 cm or less of the Master of Puppets acquires the Ambidextrous ability. However, he cannot Gian more than one additional Attack die with this ability.

The effects bestowed by the Acolytes cease immediately when the Master of Puppets is KILLED OUTRIGHT.
