"Your Excellency, despite the current laws, I permit myself to repeat my request. Ever since the shameful assassination of my Tournament Companion within the walls of my embassy, and seeing the inability of the militia to catch the criminal. I do not feel safe anymore. The presence of a Dasyatis would be of great comfort in these troubled times."

- Shaïan Alud to Den Azhir.

To date the Dasyatis Clones are among the most terrifying creatures to have come from the Alchemical laboratories of Syharhalna. A lot more docile yet just as ferocious as the Dirz Tigers, the Dasyatis are especially prized by high-ranking dignitaries to serve as bodyguards.

"While my Urban Repression unit patrolled in the embassy sector in the evening of the third moon, suspicious noises coming from the Syhar embassy attracted my attention. When we neared its out walls the "object" fell at our feet. It was a human torso severed at the waiste and bearing bite marks. The embassy's personnel having denied any implication in this affair. I can only express my suspicions concerning the illegal presence of a Dasyatis clone with the city limits..."

- Taken from sergeant Anthonium's report to Duke Den Azhir.

A Dasyatis Clone cannot benefit from more than 3 Mutagenic points in Defense and its Fear rating cannot surpass 12 thanks to this ability.

Antiome Treatment: The Dasyatis Clones may benefit from this treatment for 8 A.P. Under its effects, the Clone's savagery is channeled, the perception of its environment is modified, and its efficiency is increased. It can then take an additional die in Hand-to-Hand combat by sacrificing Attack and Defense points in the same way as a Character can. The Antiome Treatment does not allow a Dasyatis to gain more than one additional combat die per Hand-to-Hand combat phase.
