The Blade of Shekara
Kheris began his existence as a rank-and-file clone. The simple fact that he survived several battles was enough to make him an officer for his peers born in a vat, an officer devoted to the Scorpion that the Trueborn could sacrifice without an afterthought.
Kheris owes his longevity to the blade of Shekara, a unique weapon that he found after a horrible battled.
Believing him dead, his unit had left him behind. After wandering in the desert for several days, Kheris saw the weapon's handle sticking out of the sand. Ever since then the artifact's powers have protected him, allowing him to develop a rudimentary personality and, especially, sense of judgement.
Kheris benefits from the following effect when he is equipped with this artifact. Right before making his first attack during the hand-to-hand combat phase. Kheris's ATT can be reduced by 1 to 4 points. This power does not allow his ATT to become less than 0. Every sacrificed ATT point lets his STR be increased by 1 point.
These modifications last until the end of the round.
