Star of the Beast

The Technomancer was running breathlessly in the twilight. Behind him a Keratis warrior, the only survivor of his escort, followed him effortlessly. The Syhar suddenly stopped in his tracks, seeing the silhouette of a Devourer a few meters in front of him.

In one hand the beast held a curved and jagged blade on which the moon reflected a gloomy glow. With a sudden and brisk movement it threw its weapon towards the Magician who barely managed to avoid the deadly projectile. Knowing his adversary unarmed, he regained a bit of courage and firmly ordered the clone accompanying him: "Get rid of this vermin for me!" The solider did not react. Witless and only kept alive by the combat drugs that soaked his body, he gazed at the weapon stuck deeply in his chest.

When a Head Hunter fails his Aim test, the player controlling him can select a new figuring within 5 cm or less of the first one and that is within the Devourer's line of sight. He must then make another Aim Roll, but the result to be reached is increased by 1 point. If the second test succeeds, then the new target is hit with the Star of the Beast. If the second test fails, then another target cannot be selected.

In Rag'Narok, each Head Hunter must choose his target separately in order to be able to clearly define the secondary targets when needed.
