Snare of Chains

A magician's art is often the reflection of his own nature. Velrys shares the tortuous and unpredictable character of Water as well as the frightening and fascinating aura of Darkness. The Prince of the Impure has an unhealthy passion for the Dark Principle and it's at the price of constant self-restraint that he resists giving in to its evil whims. To strengthen his mind in the face of Darkness and to become even mightier than his father, the terrifying Morgar, Velrys strives daily to perfect his combat and meditation techniques.

The impure have joined the Devourers: Velrys and the haruspices of Vile-Tis have shared the secrets of the magic of blood. At the price of many sacrifices, the Prince of the Impure has forged, assembled, and enchanted the Snare of Chains, symbol of the way of the Beast. During battles, these chains allow him to free the power slumbering within him while keeping control of his destiny.


Snare of Chains lets Velrys become a potential target for all friendly effects that target a particular type of chains (of Carnage, of Affliction, etc.), even if he doesn't have these chains in his equipment. Furthermore, when Velrys carries this artifact, he can cast his spells after having run, charged, or made a Physical Feat.

Snare of Chains is reserved to Velrys.
