Fortress: Kal-Nam (Back)

Kal-Nam is the city of the alchemists of Tir-Nâ-Bor. Behind its walls, haunted by shadows, reside the keepers of a precious knowledge: the master of matter and of its secrets.

Fortress / Gorge of the Shoals (1 AP): Up to 30% (in A.P.) of any army of Kal-Nam can be placed outside of the battlefield before the deployment phase. These fighters represent the support troops of the Gorge of the Shoals. Characters cannot be chosen.

At the beginning of each round, before making the Tactical Roll, the player can select one of his miniatures (Confrontation) or Units (Rag'Narok) set aside as support. 1D6 is rolled. Its result cannot be modified and it cannot be rolled again.

1-2: Nothing happens. +2 on the result of the next roll made on this table (Max: 6).

3-4: The miniature/Unit can be deployed according to the rules below.

5-6: The miniature/Unit can be deployed according to the rules below. Another support miniature/Unit can be selected for a new test.

The chosen miniature/Unit can be placed anywhere on the battlefield within 7.5 cm or less of the edge of the table and within at least (MOV x 2) cm of the nearest enemy fighter.

Solo / Alphax Soul (4 AP): This capacity can be given to any dwarven Character bound to Kal-Nam as well as to troopers bound to Kal-Nam whose name qualifies them as being "Khor." Every beneficiary acquires the "Concentration / 1" ability (INI, ATT, and DEF).

At the moment that this ability is activated, any friendly faithful or magician located within 10 cm or less of the fighter (or even the fighter himself, if he has the possibility to do so) can spend gems of Earth or T.F. points to increase this ability's value 1 Concentration point for every gem or T.F. point spent (maximum: Concentration / 3).

This capacity does not allow Independents to be created in Rag'Narok.

Solo / Tellurian (3 AP): This capacity can be given to any dwarven magician bound to Kal-Nam. Once per round, at the beginning of a game phase, two friendly magicians endowed with this capacity and standing within 20 cm of each other can share gems of Earth drawn from their mana reserves (and within the limits of their capacities). This exchange works without line of sight. It also works between a magician endowed with this capacity and a friendly source of Earth.
