Asphixia's Wedding Ring
It’s after having burned down a whole neighborhood and having confronted the population’s wrath that Sulfur met Asphixia, his future wife. She introduced him into the very closed circle of sorcerers of No-Dan-Kar and put in touch with very influential individuals. Without his lovely benefactress, Sulfur would surely still be a market magician selling defective magic trinkets in the alleys of Klûne.
Their wedding was celebrated lavishly. As soon as the ceremony was over, the guests jumped onto all kinds of magical vehicles and went on an explosive tour of Aarklash. The climax of this nine-day extravaganza was the destruction of a school of magic in the barony of Algerande, smack in the middle of Lion territory. As a souvenir of this memorable spectacle, the lovebirds captured some of the magic essence that was brutally freed that day in their wedding rings.
Asphixia's Wedding Ring can be activated at the beginning of any game phase. This artifact's card is then discarded, and its power can no longer be used until the end of the game. Sulfur gets 10 mana gems of one or several of the Elements that he masters, within the limits of his mana reserve.
