For decades the region of Gwalgâl, not far from the Plain of Tears, had the reputation of being cursed. All those who remained there for too long ended up going mad. That is where Kelzaral, leading a conclave of faithful of Mid-Nor, unearthed the object that was the cause of this curse: the Stone of Gwalgâl, a key to the passage between Aarklash and the Dark Realm of Phobos. The stone levitates when the secret names of the gods of the abyss are spoken, and Kelzaral can summon swarms of winged monstrosities by calling on its power.

The Stone of Gwalgâl

Kelzaral can activate this artifact's power as soon as he is activated during a movement phase. He can spend up to 6 Temporary Faith points from his reserve, for every 3 T.F. points thus spent he can summon a Reaper of Mid-Nor. These summoned reapers are placed either within 10 cm or less of Kelzaral and within his angle of vision, or in base-to-base contact with him. They cannot be summoned directly into base-to-base contact with an opponent.

In Confrontation, the reapers of Mid-Nor summoned thanks to this artifact depend on Kelzaral's reference card for their movements. In Rag'Narok this invocation is subject to the rules on summoning fighters.

The stone of Gwalgâl is reserved to Kelzaral.
