The Puppeteer's Torment

Repairing Constructs is a secret art. Copying them in the form of automatons takes years of research and sacrifice. Giving a Construct a soul, on the other hand, remains a mystery that no one has managed to solve yet.

For the casting of this spell, Galhyan's field of vision is of 360°. Before a Tactical Roll, Galhyan can cast this spell onto a friendly Cynwall Construct equipped with helianthic mechanisms. If the incantation is successful, then the target is bound to Galhyan until the end of the round. The options given by this spell are explained on the back of this card [below].

In Rag'Narok Galhyan doesn't need a line of sight onto the Constructs in his Unit he wishes to create a bond to. He selects a Unit made up of 10 Cynwäll Constructs or less that is within range and makes only one Incantation Roll for all of them.

At the beginning of a game phase, Galhyan can attribute one or several of the abilities below to each of the Constructs bound to him, no matter their position on the battlefield. To do so he must spend mana gems. The indicated cost is that for one Construct. The abilities are acquired until the end of the round.

  • 1 x Managem light.png (Akhamiäl only): Instinctive Firing
  • 1 x Managem light.png and 1x Managem water.png: Possessed
  • 2 x Managem light.png: Fierce
  • 2 x Managem water.png: Regeneration / 5

In Rag'Narok Chain of Automatons does not allow Independents to be created: all of a Unit's Constructs (except Independents) must be given the same powers during the same magic phase. The cost of the abilities must then be paid for every Construct in the Unit.
