The Mechanical Familiar

The Mechanical Familiar is an automated suit that Fenggar uses as an assistant. It is not a true Familiar insofar as it is not a being that comes from an Elemental Realm. Mostly mechanical, partly magical, it helps the Blacksmith do his work ever since he has lost the use of his legs. The Familiar is able to connect itself to steam equipment in order to minimize the risk of breaking down.

If the Familiar is in contact with a figurine that is forced to make a roll on the Table of Incidents, the Dwarf player may roll the die again. He must then accept the new result, even if it is worse than the first one.

If the concerned figurine is equipped with a Pressure Regulator, then the Mechanical Familiar only allows one of the two dice to be rolled again.
