The Masters of Puppets

One of the acolytes below can be chosen for every master of puppets right before the deployment phase.

Rag'Narok: All masters of puppets in the same Unit must have the same type of acolyte. A fighter can have only one acolyte at a time. Their use is option and can be announced once per round.

Cabalistic Acolyte: This power is to be announced before the incantation of a spell (not a ritual). The player rolls one additional die for the POW test and keeps the result that suits him.

Acolyte of Devastation: This power is to be announced before an Attack test made for the master of puppets. The player rolls one additional die for this test and keeps the better result.

Acolyte of Domination: This power is to be announced at the beginning of any game phase. A friendly Mid-Nor Character located even partially within 10 cm or less of/in the same Unit as the master of puppets benefits from Ambidextrous until the end of the round. No line of sight is required. The beneficiary can gain only one additional attack die thanks to this ability.

One D6 is to be rolled after each time an acolyte is used. On a 1 the following effect is applied:

  • Confrontation: The acolyte is destroyed.
  • Rag'Narok: All of the Unit's acolytes are destroyed. The power of the destroyed acolytes can no longer be used until the end of the game. An acolyte's effects end as soon as the master of puppets who provided him is KILLED OUTRIGHT.
