"Let's pound the enemy to a pulp, little brother..."
I'm not aware of the exact origins of the Dwarves of Mid-Nor who we intercepted in the ravines of Bran-Ô-Kor. It is definitely one of the worst Colonies that I have ever had to confront! these demons have projectile weapons of a rare kind: they are similar to the mobile towers that we have used to give support to sieges, but at a human scale... I fear that the cleverness of these Dwarves of Darkness still has a few surprises in store for us!
- Missive from Templar Kelher to Commander Arkhos.
A Castle of Desolation is considered as being of Normal size for all the game's aspects in which Size comes into play. Moreover, the Castle's crewman gives it a 360° field of vision. A Castle of Desolation can continue firing even if it is Engaged by an opponent. If it should choose to do so, its Aim difficulty is increased by 1 point and it suffers a -2 penalty on its Attack and Defense Rolls during the Hand-to-Hand Combat phase. The Castle cannot, however, target a fighter in Base-to-Base contact with it.
The Castles of Desolations are not Characters.
