The Bull of Steel / 1 (Cannon)
The Bull of Steel / 1 (Cannon) (back)

Special Heavy Artillery

The steam cannon mounted on the chariot is equipped with a rapid reloading mechanism allowing it to fire twice per round. A Pressure Roll can be made for each one of these shots.

Before each shot the cannon can be loaded with two different types of shell,. Depending on the ammunition chosen, it can be considered either perforating Heavy Artillery or Heavy Artillery with Zone Effect. This choice must be announced right before making the Aim Roll.

Minimum Range

The artilleryman can fire even if opponents are in Base-to-Base contact with the chariot. However, the steam cannon cannot fire at a target in Base-to-Base contact with it (including the team of animals pulling it).

Line of Sight

The artilleryman's line of sight is defined while considering that the Chariot is of Very Large size. Before each shot the artilleryman can redirect himself in any direction. He then suffers an additional penalty of +1 on the Aim's difficulty.

The Armored Chariot in Hand-to-Hand Combat

12 figurines on infantry bases (25 x 25 mm) can be in direct contact with the Armored Chariot: 2 in front, 2 in back and 4 on each side. Creature bases (37.5 x 37.5 mm), large creature bases (50 x 50 mm) and the sides of the cavalry bases (25 x 37.5 mm) count for two infantry bases.

Disengagement

When the Armored Chariot tries a Force Disengagement, it can make a Pressure Roll whose result is added to its Strength. This test is automatically passed if the accumulated Strength of the enemies in contact with the Chariot is inferior to 20. When it Disengages, the Chariot can only advance in a straight line. It can attempt this maneuver even if one or several obstacles are touching the front of the Razorbacks base. If the Disengagement is successful then every obstacle suffers a Damage Roll of a Strength of 5. If all obstacles are destroyed or killed, the Chariot can make its Movement. If not, it remains motionless.

Mowing

If you like, you can add wheel blades to the Chariot. They must be glued to the wheels' hubs. This modification increases the Chariot's cost by 10 A.P. and it acquires the Mowing / 5 ability.
