The spell's target loses one combat die until the end of the round. In return the spell's caster benefits from certain bonuses.
If the target is equipped with Chains of Carnage, the Magician's Attack and Strength ratings increase by 2 points each until the end of the round.
If the target is equipped with Chains of Calamity, the Magician benefits from an additional combat die until the end of the round. If the target is equipped with both types of Chains, the Magician must choose one of the two effects.
A Magician cannot cast this spell on himself.
