Orb of Blackness

The Orb of Blackness is frequently used by the Alchemists of Dirz to protect their troops from enemy magician attacks. The Orb allows to withstand the effects of an opposing spell without it causing any damage.

Once the Incantation is successful, the targeted figurine will ignore the effects of the following spell that should apply to it. It is possible to cast this spell on oneself, but any Magic user protected this way will be unable to spend gems of Mana or roll for Power without breaking the effects of the Orb of Blackness. The Mana recovery Roll is not affected by this rule.
