When making a "Mutagenic / X" roll with a fighter equipped with this artifact, roll 2d6 instead of only one. The preferred result is used. If the result is a double, then it becomes a Damage Roll inflicted ont he fighter. In Confrontation it is an Exceptional Wound whose result is identical to that of the two dice. In Rag'Narok its STR is equal to the sum of the two dice. If he survives this wound, then he still gets the bonus.

Any Scorpion fighter (or Stateless fighter included in a Scorpion army) with the "Mutagenic / X" ability can be given the Endocrinal Treatment, even if he normally cannot be given a magic object. In Rag'Narok only a Character who meets the criteria listed above can be given this artifact.
