Dance of the Eclipse

Though learning it is extremely simple, the dance of the Eclipse is one of the latest techniques developed by the Eclipsantes. It combines the martial secrets of assassin fighters with those of Vile-Tis to create an effect that is almost supernatural. An Eclipsante using this technique calls on her dexterity as well as her mental strength to defy the laws of nature and doge projectiles aimed at her, including those that a normal being could never avoid.

This power manifests itself in various ways. Some Eclipsantes become fleeting shadows, other literally seem to teleport or let the bullets caress their skin. Each one of these killers of Vile-Tis finds the secrets of her own dance within herself.

The use of this power can be revealed even if the Eclipsante is not engaged in hand-to-hand combat. Its effects apply until the end of the round and for the whole duration of the following round, even if the Eclipsante uses a different secret technique during this one.

For the duration of the Dance of the Eclipse, 1d6 must be rolled each time the Eclipsante suffers a Damage Roll caused by a shot (including those with zone effect). One a result of Rackham d6 4.png (4) or more the Damage Roll is cancelled.

Dance of the Eclipse is a technique reserved for Eclipsantes.
