This spell can only be cast at the moment that the target suffers a Damage Roll that doesn't inflict it with a Wound. It can therefore be cast during any phase, but it cannot be the object of rapid or prolonged incantation. If the incantation is successful, then the Damage Roll is rolled again. A same fighter can be targeted by this spell only once per round, if its incantation was successful or not, and even if several magicians have this spell.
