Atlas Treatment

A fighter that benefits from the Atlas Treatment must decide if he activates its effect or not at the moment that he is assigned a Mutagenic die. If he decides to do so, then he doesn't get any bonus from the Mutagenic ability until the end of the round.

In return and until the end of the round the fighter can, if he wishes, roll a D6 before each roll bound to his Physical Feat, Strength or Resilience ratings. The Treatment also affects his Resilience to the Damage Rolls he suffers. A result of 1 on this roll is an automatic failure and a 6 can be rolled again, but a result of 1 on the re-rolled die remains a failure. This result of the dice is added to the concerned characteristic's value for the test that follows.

If the rolled result is greater than or equal to 10, the bonus is acquired, but the fighter immediately suffers a Damage Roll of a Strength of 0 that ignores all forms of Resilience. Equipment and Abilities that affect the result of a Damage Roll have no effect on this Damage Roll.

The bonuses gained using the Atlas Treatment disappear once the corresponding roll has been made.

This treatment is reserved to Scorpions. It is not considered an artifact and all fighters, even non-Characters, may benefit from it.

In Rag'Narok this treatment's cost in A.P. doesn't change the number of combat dice and wound levels of the fighter being treated.

Cost: 5 AP
