Draw an imaginary line across the Hydra's base such that the tail is in one section and the heads in the other. Once this titanic capacity is activated, all enemy models located in base to base contact with the hydra and in the section of the model covered in the rear of the imaginary line are affected. Each model affected must place at least one combat die in defense and may not call on any game affect which would preclude them from doing so
