Oculus Treatment
Originally destined to equip the dreadful assassins of Theben, the Oculus treatment slowly spread among the various army corps of the Scorpion. This is most probably due to its ease of use and maintenance, it is a vegetal module whose shape looks like an eye. Attached to the hollow at the back of the neck, it intensifies its bearer's senses beyond the human limits. Alas, violent stimuli tend to disorient the subject and can make him vulnerable.
This artifact can be given to any Scorpion fighter who has neither POW nor Aspects. If he is a non-Character fighter, the he cannot carry any other artifacts but this one.
Oculus treatment grants its bearer the "Consciousness" ability. If his equipment includes a range weapon, then its ranges are each increased by 10 cm.
The bearer suffers a -1 modifier in INI, ATT and DEF for as long as he is within 10 cm or less of a fighter, be he friend or for, who has at least one of the following abilities: War Cry / X, Rallying Cry or Leadership / X. This penalty is not cumulative if several fighters who qualify are within range, and it does not apply if the fighter causing this penalty is also equipped with this artifact.
