Writing has been raised to an art form among the Goblins, even though the local patois and the usual variants are many, Xherus has vowed his existence to meditating in the depths of the sewers of Cadwallon, close to the numerous incarnations of the god Rat. Born blind, the rats became his eyes and his ears. The day came when Xherus was presented to the court of the Great Rat, the incarnation of his god in this place.
He then discovered with his weak fingers that the Great Rat had turned into a skeleton. Long time ago and that the basis of a language that could be understood by all Goblins was carved into his bones. For Xherus it was the beginning of a new era… Ever since this marvelous discovery, the Goblin Devout seeks to spread the god Rat’s language among his brethren by all means. The hermit has become literate. Even the Emperor of all Goblins Izothop, seems to be interested by this new and revolutionary form of expression.
