Mutagenic Surge
By leading his troops to victory against the Scorpion's enemies, Cypher Lukhan has gained an undeniable notoriety. He embodies the courage of the Syhar people in the face of the Griffin invader. In the past the masters of Syharhalna wanted to eliminate this clone who had become a bit too well known. Now they use him for their propaganda. In order to ensure ever more resounding victories the technomancers supply him with the best combat drugs available.
A counter is placed on this card every time Cypher Lukhan or a friendly Keratis Warrior located within his leadership range eliminates an enemy whose value as indicated on his reference card is of 10 A.P. or greater. This magic object can hold up to 6 counters.
Some or all (at least 2) of these counters can be discarded at the moment that a Mutagenic Roll is made for Cypher Lukhan or a friendly Keratis Warrior within 10 cm or less of him (Confrontation) or for the Unit of Keratis he accompanies (Rag'Narok). The target must have been endowed beforehand with a Mutagenic die. No need to roll this die: its result is automatically equal to the number of counters discarded. The modifier bound to the Mutagenic / X ability is then applied to this result.
Mutagenic Surge is considered to be a magic object reserved to the Second Incarnation of Cypher Lukhan.
