The difficulty is equal to 3 + the target's INI (as printed on its reference card). Once this spell has been successfully cast, the magician can immediately spend additional gems of Light (Maximum: POW printed on his card). Each gem thus spent either:
- Increases the target's INI by 1 point and lowers its RES by 2 points.
OR
- Lowers the target's INI by 1 point and increases its RES by 2 points.
Neither of these two characteristics can become less than 0 due to this spell's effects.
In Rag'Narok Desychnronization can only target Independents.
