A strange silhouette appears in a cloud of steam and of noxious fumes... May the enemies of No-Dan-Kar tremble in fear, for here is the infamous Golborak and his Engineer Brats, cramped into their most terrifying invention: the Golgoth Armor!

Golborak can use the Golgoth Armor to increase his Strength and Initiative ratings. In each game phase in which one of these two characteristics is used, Golborak can roll a D6. This is called an Injection Roll. The result is added to the concerned characteristic. But even the Golgoth Armor has its limits: a 6 does not allow the die to be rolled again on an Injection Roll.

If the Result of the dice on an Injection Roll is 1, then do not apply any bonus because an Incident has happened. Immediately roll a D6 and consult Goblorak's Table of Incidents on the back of this card to see what happened.

Because of its unique construction, no magic object or spell bound to steam may be applied to it without the consent of other players.

The Golgoth Armor can only be used by Golborak.

Result on the D6 / Incident!
1: Oops! Golborak suffers a Wound of a Strenght of 25. All figurines within 10 cm around him suffer a Wound of Strength 10.
2: It's blinking! A pretty little light has just turned on. Golborak cannot make any further Injection Rolls until the end of the round.
3: Experiment! An Engineer Brat has jsut tested a button. Make another roll on the Table of Incidents and subtract 1 from the result. The penalty is cumulative if you obtain it several times, but it cannot become less than 1.
4: Purge! A disquieting whistling sound is heard. The machine rumbles but nothing happens.
5: Metamorphosis! Golborak immediately makes a roll of a die as if he were using the Mutagenic / 0 ability.
6: Autom.. aargh! A diversion in the circuits has just uncovered a new system. From now on Golborak can make Pressure Rolls bound to his Movement.







Confrontation 3 Revision

The Golgoth Armor is a piece of naphta equipment. It is equipped with an integrated carburetor. The characteristics that can be the objects of an injection roll are Golborak’s Initiative and Strength.

These injection rolls follow the rules on steam and naphta machines (see p. 147 Confrontation 3 Rulebook).

If an incident happens, its consequences are defined in the following table:

Result on the D6 / Incident!
1: Oops! Golborak suffers a Damage roll (STR 10) while his RES is considered to be equal to 0, no matter the effects he is benefiting from. Effects that affect the results of Damage rolls (such as “Hardboiled”) apply as usual.

Furthermore, all fighters standing even partially within 5 cm or less of Golborak suffer a Damage roll (STR 5). This roll ignores the victims’ RES.

If Golborak survives, then he can no longer make injection rolls or benefit from an effect requiring a carburetor until the end of the game.

Finally, the test that should have benefited from the injection roll is considered to be an automatic failure.

2-4: It's blinking! A colorful warning light has just turned on. Golborak can no longer make injection rolls until the end of the round.
5-6: Metamorphosis! Golborak immediately makes a roll as if he were using Mutagenic / 0.
