Pressure Regulator
The Dwarfish steam machines are feared throughout the world for their destructive potential. The Warriors who have the honor of wielding them are galvanized by the impression of strength that these artifacts give them. Yet only the most reckless would risk exploiting these dreadful machines at the maximum of their power: no one is safe from overheating, which can be fatal. Fenggar Iron Hand has spent much of his career trying to find ways to limit the risk of incidents in the boilers that equip the steam machines.
For the moment, he hasn't managed to reach the zero risk level. But one of his inventions, the Pressure Regulator, has helped improve the steam machines' safety.
If a steam machine is equipped with a Pressure Regulator, roll two dice instead of one when making an incident roll. Only the higher result is taken into account.
The Pressure Regulator is reserved to Dwarves of Tir-Nâ-Bor equipped with steam machines. This object is not reserved to Characters and does not count as a magic object.
