The Phemora Clones
Ambrosius held a piece of paper up for the novices of the Lodge of Hod to look at. It showed a picture of a creature that had no place in nature: a Phemora clone also called a Pest of Flesh.
"The Phemora are monstrosities that are no bigger than common dogs yet they are formidable war machines. They show blind rage, and can explode at any moment. I was lucky enough to study one after a violent blow had rendered it unconscious. It would appear that these creatures are able to synthesize an explosive substance and to store it in their Doral shields here, here, and here. I haven't had the time to understand how they trigger these reserves. But you shouldn't worry about such trivialities, but content to do your duty and leave the trivia to me."
At the very beginning or at the end of a Hand-to-Hand Combat phase, you can designate one or several Phemora Clones for sacrifice. The creatures explode in a violent blast and cannot be resuscitated by any means. A Phemora explodes in the same manner when it is KILLED OUTRIGHT.
All warriors, both friendly and hostile, in direct contact with a Phemora that explodes suffer a Damage Roll of STR 5.
