Sÿlann's large cape is not jsut decorative apparel: it is a very old artifact that the Cynwälls found in a huge troglodytic temple hidden at the heart of the Behemoth Mountains. The Celestial Wing, which apparently was used as a standard for its mysterious creator's army, is one of the rare objects who functioning still isn't understood by the heliasts of Lanever. The cape awakens with a simple thought by its wearer and generates a powerful force field that protects the fighters nearby from enemy fire. It's the perfect artifact for those who protect the Guide's life.
