The Eminences of Arh-Tolth

Ruling the Scorpion Empire with an iron hand, the Faithful of Arh-Tolth occupy the highest positions in the hierarchy. With a single word they affect the lives of thousands of individuals, expressing the almighty will of Arh-Tolth, the founding god of their nation. Feared and respected, the Vicars have the power over life and death of the clones and the True-Born, taking orders from no one but the Faithful themselves. When the leaders of Syhar have doubts about one of their fellows, they have a Vicar keep an eye on him. For the fellow it is the beginning of a dreadful ordeal. All of his moves and actions are spied on and reported to the Mentats for a period of time that can last for months. The presence of a Vicar is often enough to make the subject's wavering disappear and to rekindle its desire for victory.

For every Vicar in your army select a befriended Dirz Character during the Approach. As long as he is within the Warrior-Monks Aura of Faith, choose one of the following effects at the beginning of each round:

  • The Character benefits from the <Survival Instinct> ability until the end of the round.
  • The Character ignores the Charging penalty until the end of the round.
  • The Character sees his Courage rating increase by 2 points until the end of the round. This value can be transmitted by the <Leadership> ability.

A Character can only benefit from one of these effects per round, whatever the number of Vicars bound to him.
