''"I saw the creature I brought into this world suck my comrade's blood dry and maybe even their souls. Then it escaped... I don't know why it spared me, but I waited for it to return like the condemned man waits for his executioner."''
''- Inscription engraved on the wall of an abandoned laboratory.''
The [[Aberration|Aberrations]], also called Carnyris Clones, weren't created according to the Dirz Alchemists' protocols, which engenders certain incompatibilities... This creature cannot benefit from more than 4 [[Mutagenic / X|Mutagenic]] points in the same characteristic during the same round.
An Aberration's metabolism is replenished by drinking the blood of its enemies. Each time a Carnyris Clone eliminates an enemy in Hand-to-Hand Combat, place a counter next to the corpse. The next Mutagenic Roll is increased by as many points as there are counters on the board. The counters are then discarded: the alchemic clone has exhausted its metabolic reserves and needs to replenish them. An Aberration can only have 3 counters in play at once.
A result of 1 on an Aberration's Mutagenic Roll is a failure even if it has counters in play. These are automatically discarded.
In Rag'Narok, a Carnyris Clone can only get a counter if the value of the eliminated adversary as printed on the Reference card is of 15 A.P. or more.
