Contrary to what its name might imply, a War Toad is not very good at Hand-to-Hand Combat. Once an insolent Ströhm Warrior, he is now used as an extra Mana reserve.
At the beginning of the game, choose 3 Mana gems that you would like to place "inside" the Toad. Any Magician, friend or foe, within 10 cm of the Toad may use these gems to cast spells. If he masters the concerned elements.
You may not have more War Toads in your army than there are figurines that have a Power rating.
