The Goblin Pirates (front)
The Goblin Pirates (back)

It is said that in the past Captain Krill was a general in the Goblins of No-Dan-Kar army. Notwithstanding the brilliant victories he led his soldiers to on the fields of glory, his reputation was stained by the pillaging, his fighter’s extreme violence and the way their prisoners were badly treated. General Krill’s violence became legendary, largely surpassing the already high standards of the Goblins: in his presence it was useless to negotiate a truce or to take prisoners. The general quickly became a liability.

The first opportunity available was taken to push Krill aside. He was assigned to the worst place imaginable for a Goblin; the forest of Diisha, the Wolfen territory. Though his soldiers were very efficient, or maybe because of this, his regiment was quickly decimated and became powerless. Krill himself disappeared during a battle. He was declared a deserter and was deposed from his rank.

But one day Krill reappeared, accompanied by the best officers of his old regiment and his own brother Dhypter, a dubious retired ship owner and notorious crook. Thanks to Dhypter’s old connections, the Goblins were able to invest the fortune they had amassed during their somber military career in the construction of a unique ship: the Black Tooth. This vessel was designed to be amphibious, able to be driven and to navigate with the winds. The rejected general threw away his stripes, put on a cocked hat, and thus became the terrifying Captain Krill…

Ever since, the Pirates have been sailing all the seas and all the lands of Aarklash, living from plunder, treasure hunts, and adventures. Krill and his motley crew have earned an even more terrifying reputation than before, attacking caravans, merchant ships and the survivors of battles without distinction. News of their ferocity has even reached the N.B.A, the No-Dan-Kar Battle Academy of the Goblins!

The High Command of Klûne is anxiously waiting for the day that Krill takes his revenge…

When the Black Tooth's Crew is complete, all of the Goblin Pirates gain the War Fury ability until the end of the game. The crew is made up of the following: Captain Krill, Mister Dhypter, Kerozen the Tentacular, Baron Samedi, and The Argument, accompanied by at least two Goblin Sailors, a Goblin Diver and two Goblin Gunners. If the Pirates have managed to ally themselves with a Black Troll Pirate, they all benefit from the Bravery ability until the end of the game. Their formidable ally also has these two abilities.
