The Mad Mace

Forged with the finest metal on Aarklash, which means it was taken from the armor of a Griffin Crusader, the Mad Mace is a perfect illustration of Goblin Magic. No sorcerer, not even he who enchanted it knows exactly what spirit was locked in this artifact.

The only certainty admitted by all is that this "thing" is extremely dangerous and capricious. Capable of the best, as well as the worst, it can reveal itself completely inefficient against a simple peasant, and deadly against a Thermo-Warrior.

It was initially offered to the late Emperor Izothop who preferred to hand it down to a young up-and-coming Ströhm warrior, Becbunzen. The truth is the Emperor was very unhappy with the weapon's changing moods and had decided to give it away to the first Goblins hat came his way. Nevertheless Becbunzen refuses to be separated from this imperial artifact.

Before each Damage Roll Becbunzen inflicts on an enemy in Hand-to-Hand Combat, roll 2D6. The result of these two dice then replaces the Goblin's Strength characteristic.

The Mad Mace is an artifact reserved to Becbunzen.
