"I saw the creature I brought into this world suck my comrade's blood dry and maybe even their souls. Then it escaped... I don't know why it spared me, but I waited for it to return like the condemned man waits for his executioner."
- Inscription engraved on the wall of an abandoned laboratory.
The Aberrations, also called Carnyris Clones, werent created according to the Dirz Alchemists' protocols, which engenders certain incompatibilities... This creature cannot benefit from more than 4 Mutagenic points in the same characteristic during the same round.
An Aberration's metabolism is replenished by drinking the blood of its enemies. Each time a Carnyris Clone eliminates an enemy in Hand-to-Hand Combat, place a counter next to the corpse. The next Mutagenic Roll is increased by as many points as there are counters on the board. The counters are then discarded" the alchemic clone has exhausted its metabolic reserves and needs to replenish them. An Aberration can only have 3 counters in play at once.
A result of 1 on an Aberration's Mutagenic Roll is a failure even if it has counters in play. These are automatically discarded.
In Rag'Narok, a Carnyris Clone can only get a counter if the value of the eliminated adversary as printed on the Reference card is of 15 A.P. or more.
