'''Example''': An ophidian equipped with this artifact inflicts a Wound to an opponent's torso. The player controlling the ophidian decides to turn this Torso Wound into a Head Wound. The roll is considered to have hit the victim's Head and is resolved by referring to the "Head" column in the Wound Table.

In ''Rag'Narok'' a natural result of 5 is consdiered to be a 6 on damage rolls in hand-to-hand combat inflicted by an ophidian vorpal blade. The dice can then be rolled again. A 1 gotten after having re-rolled the die is not considered to be a failure and is added to the previous result.

Only ophidian Characters can be equipped with an ophidian vorpal blade.

There can only be one Ophidian vorpal blade for every even incomplete 500 A.P. in the army.
