The Scourges of Mid-Nor
Stronger and more seasoned than the regular troops of Mid-Nor these fighters carry the marks of many a confrontation and of the hardships that their bodies have suffered under the grasp of the demons that have taken possessed of them... But their true strength comes neither from their formidable weapon, nor from their impressive muscles.
It is the puppets that follow them everywhere that are the source of their sinister reputation. Invested by the powers of a Lictor, the mission of these Acolytes of Desolation is to feed the hatred of the Scourge Bearers with their perfidious words. Being constantly harassed by these demonically entities, they end up falling into a state of murderous frenzy without comparison. Even among the other servants of the Despot do these terrifying warriors have the reputation of being bloodthirsty brutes.
Before the beginning of a game, for each Reference card (in Confrontation) or Unit (in Rag'Narok) of Scourge Bearers of Mid-Nor present in your army, pick a Reference card at random among those of your opponent. If more than one card must be chosen, put each card back into the deck before picking the next one. The same card can thus be picked several times. The Scourge Bearers represented by the chosen Reference card in Confrontation or that are members of the same Unit in Rag'Narok all gain the Bane ability against the type of figurine picked at random. This effects lasts until the end of the game.
